The Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course is a mandatory training for anyone serving or selling alcohol in licensed venues.

Here are the key points:

Purpose: The course ensures that staff understand their legal obligations, recognize signs of intoxication, and know how to refuse service responsibly.

Course Code: The RSA course is formally known as the SITHFAB021 unit of competency – Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol.

Requirements: Completion of the RSA course is required for employment in licensed premises, including bars, restaurants, and cafes.

This short course covers infant-to-adult CPR and AED operation.
Most workplaces expect CPR skills to be refreshed every year, separate from the full first aid renewal, and this course is built for exactly that.
This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
