HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid is a nationally recognised training course that equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge to respond confidently to a range of medical emergencies in the workplace, at home, or in the community. This course is delivered in accordance with the latest Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and other relevant national clinical standards.

Participants will learn how to assess emergency situations, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), operate an automated external defibrillator (AED), and provide first aid for conditions including choking, asthma, anaphylaxis, bleeding, burns, fractures, shock, sprains, strains, poisoning, and other life-threatening emergencies.

The course is suitable for anyone who wishes to develop practical first aid skills, including employees, job seekers, students, parents, carers, and members of the general public. No previous first aid experience is required.
